As an intern for the Marketing and Media Department of Colorado Springs during the summer of 2020,  I helped design, develop, and launch their e-commerce website. The website gives information about Colorado Springs and displays products to be bought. I helped implement a chat bot and different newsletter popups to help grow the email drip campaign.
This website was created using mostly the Shopify platform and some coding in HTML, CSS and Javascript.
One of my significant contributions during this internship was revamping the product photos. I proposed incorporating people from the Colorado Springs community to be models. This was implemented after my departure.
Before this change could occur, I used Photoshop to transform their 2D photos of the products into appealing 3D representations, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the apparel on the website.

I created and embedded an interactive map of Colorado Springs highlighting all of the key attractions to visit while in Olympic City USA.
After completing research on different pop-ups for e-commerce websites and how to encourage users to join mailing lists, I discovered that implementing a pop-up offering visitors 10% off their purchase was most effective. To grow the mailing list for the e-mail drip campaign I started, there is also a way to join the newsletter at the bottom of the e-commerce.
